Hero Section

The hero is the large banner at the top of your homepage. It’s the first thing visitors see, so it needs to make an impact and clearly communicate what you offer.

What You Can Customise

Headline

Your main message that grabs attention.

Good examples:

  • “Transform Your Body, Transform Your Life”
  • “Personal Training That Gets Results”
  • “Your Fitness Journey Starts Here”

Tips:

  • Keep it under 10 words
  • Focus on the benefit to the client
  • Make it memorable

Subheadline

Supporting text that adds detail to your headline.

Good examples:

  • “Expert 1-on-1 coaching tailored to your goals”
  • “Join hundreds of clients who’ve achieved their fitness goals”
  • “Personalised programs for all fitness levels”

Tips:

  • 1-2 sentences maximum
  • Explain your unique approach
  • Address what clients are looking for

Call-to-Action Button

The main button that drives visitors to take action:

  • Primary Button Text - Main action (e.g., “Book Your Session”)
  • Primary Button Link - Usually your booking page
  • Secondary Button (optional) - Alternative action (e.g., “Learn More”)

Background Image

A high-quality image that sets the mood:

  • Recommended size: 1920 x 1080 pixels minimum
  • Format: JPG for photos, PNG for graphics
  • Style: Action shots, gym environment, or training in progress work well

Avoid busy images that make text hard to read. The system adds a dark overlay, but simpler backgrounds work best.

How to Edit

  1. Go to Site ContentHero
  2. Enter your headline and subheadline
  3. Customise button text and links
  4. Upload your background image
  5. Preview your changes
  6. Publish when ready

Layout Options

Depending on your theme, you may have layout options:

  • Left-aligned - Text on the left, image on right
  • Centred - Text centred over background
  • Right-aligned - Text on the right, image on left

Writing Tips

Be Specific

Instead of: “Get fit with us” Try: “Lose 10kg in 12 weeks with personalised training”

Address Pain Points

Think about what your ideal client struggles with:

  • Lack of time? “30-minute sessions that fit your schedule”
  • Past failures? “A proven system that actually works”
  • Intimidation? “Welcoming environment for all levels”

Create Urgency

Encourage immediate action:

  • “Book your free consultation today”
  • “Limited spots available this month”
  • “Start your transformation now”
